Fangirling- I got to Meet Claire Lombardo

I had the chance to meet Claire Lombardo, author of The Most Fun We Ever Had, and she is as warm and funny as her book is engaging and brilliant. If you haven’t read it yet, move it to the top of your TBR and get ready for a roller coaster ride.

Lydia Loves- On the Come Up by Angie Thomas

I’m a huge Angie Thomas fan. I love both her books, but I loved this one especially because of the relationship between Bri and her mother and because Angie Thomas is such a good writer she made me listen to rap music. No specific group to recommend this to, I would recommend this one across the board. Everyone should read On the Come Up.

Wolfpack by Abby Wambach

Okay, I love this book. I love Wolfpack so much that I bought it after I read it. Not just for myself, but for many of the young women in my life who are graduating this year. This book is based on Abby Wambach’s 2018 commencement speech to the graduating class at Barnard College and it’s become a rally cry for women to find their pack and find their power.
