Fangirling- I got to Meet Claire Lombardo

I had the chance to meet Claire Lombardo, author of The Most Fun We Ever Had, and she is as warm and funny as her book is engaging and brilliant. If you haven’t read it yet, move it to the top of your TBR and get ready for a roller coaster ride.

Lydia Loves- On the Come Up by Angie Thomas

I’m a huge Angie Thomas fan. I love both her books, but I loved this one especially because of the relationship between Bri and her mother and because Angie Thomas is such a good writer she made me listen to rap music. No specific group to recommend this to, I would recommend this one across the board. Everyone should read On the Come Up.

Lydia Loves: The Alice Network by Kate Quinn

The Alice Network Cover

I loved everything about The Alice Network. The story, the characters, the history… everything. If you’ve been reading any historical fiction lately, you know the trend the last few years has been all about WWII. Bonus! The Alice Network does an amazing job of weaving the stories of two characters, Eve Gardiner and Charlie St Clair, and both World Wars.
